Tier 2 Teaming Check-In Check-Out Implementation Series

This five-part series will walk school and district Tier 2 PBIS teams through the eleven critical features of a successful Check-in Check-out (CICO) system. We will discuss the rationale for Tier 2 systems, including the reasons CICO is a critical foundational Tier 2 PBIS practice (i.e., it is the most researched efficient and effective intervention for elementary and middle school students, including built in data features for evaluation), ensure participants have a solid understanding of CICO practices and systems (beyond just point cards!), and review common pitfalls and lessons learned from school-based implementers’ experiences. This series will include lots of examples/materials for teams to utilize as templates when creating their own CICO systems. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about critical features, action plan, and bring implementation questions to the series.
