Mental Health in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)

NWPBIS is excited to partner with the University of Oregon School Psychology program, and Lane County Prevention office, to offer a session “Mental Health Integration in MTSS.” As part of this partnership, we will offer educator CEU’s and NCSP CEU’s for school psychologists.

The NWPBIS team, lead by UO alumni, Dr. Jessica Swain-Bradway, and Dr. Billie Jo Rodriguez will share their expertise in systems integration. They will also share lessons learned and examples from districts working alongside their community providers and integrating mental health supports across the tiers of intervention.

Objectives: Participants will be able to

1- Summarize the big idea and key concepts of integration of mental health promotion and response within a multi-tiered system of support in a school.

2- Describe integration examples applicable for district leaders, school leaders and educators, and community providers.

3-Identify ready to use resources for district and community providers.

4- Network with regional partners supporting districts and schools.

The session will be from 1-4 pm, and will be 3 CEU’s
