Who We Are
NWPBIS Network is unequivocally committed to equity for ALL students. We are committed to our role as a change agent for more inclusive and equitable educational environments for our children and the adults who serve them. This commitment shapes our daily work.
Goal 1: Equitable Social Behavior Student Outcomes. Districts and schools in the Pacific Northwest demonstrate a reduction in disproportionate discipline, and overall exclusionary discipline in the region as a means to achieve more equitable, safe, positive school environments.
Goal 2: Increase District Implementation of PBIS. Districts and Schools in the Pacific Northwest demonstrate increased implementation of PBIS with fidelity following training by NWPBIS Network.
Goal 3: Increase District Engagement with PBIS. Districts in the Pacific Northwest demonstrate increased interest in and engagement with PBIS activities for improving equity and student social, emotional and behavioral outcomes.
Goal 4: Increase NWPBIS Outreach and Collaborations. NWPBIS Network will maintain and/or increase the collaboration in the region with groups that have a similar mission and/or explicit mission to support equity in student outcomes.
Goal 5: Increase Organizational Capacity and Sustainability. Northwest PBIS Network as an organization has sustainable capacity to establish and support equitable district and school level PBIS implementation in the Northwest

Board Roles & Responsibilities
- Attend quarterly, virtual board meetings (approximately 3 hours each)
- Be familiar with NWPBIS board policies and strategic plan
- Participate in NWPBIS board committee and committee activities
- Encourage and support collaborations with other similar organizations
- Attend board retreat
